I read an interesting and inspiring post on LinkedIn today and it got me thinking about the way we connect in business. Before career sites and online job postings, before social media and networking conferences, people simply hired family, friends, a friend of a friend, people they trusted.
I know there is an entire methodology behind the interview and hiring process. Thousands of books and articles and studies on the art of filing positions to best benefit your business. It's become a formula, but it still comes down to how you brand yourself, network and who you know.
