Each year, the Puget Sound Business Journal, a weekly publication containing articles about business people, issues, and events in the greater Seattle, Washington area, publishes their list of the Top 100 Best Workplaces in Washington. After collecting thousands of employee surveys and compiling the results by business size, ONEMINT beat out hundreds of other northwest companies who make employees and employee engagement a top priority. Ranked #7 in the small workplace category and #7 overall ONEMINT was recognized for their awesome company culture and infrastructure that supports personal and professional growth. ONEMINT was also recognized for their diversity. Out of the Top 100 Best Workplaces, ONEMINT ranked 8th in diversity with 46% of employees representing minorities and 47% women. Related to ONEMINT's recognition for diversity, but not included as part of their award, 26% of employees represent the LGBTQ+ community both locally and globally, a huge part of what makes ONEMINT an all-around supportive environment for employees.
To honor their win, the ONEMINT team was invited to Safeco Field, home of the Seattle Mariners, to participate in the Washington's Best Workplace event hosted by the Business Journal.
ONEMINT CEO, Brandon Baker turned out for the CEO Forum where other Best Workplace business leaders gathered to talk about company culture and creating an employee-centric work environment. When asked how ONEMINT fosters diversity in leadership at ONEMINT, Baker stated, "Transparency among the team and leaders. Ensuring that everyone feels valued and heard. Establishing a data-drive performance system that removes bias, opinion, and affords every person the same opportunity. Facilitating growth personally and professionally."
After a ballpark reception, complete with hot dogs and cold beers, the ONEMINT team was invited down onto the field to run the bases, represent the company and accept their award.
